We recently serviced a Kenmore washer that was showing an OE error code and producing unusual noises during operation. These symptoms indicated a potential issue with the washer’s drainage system.
Upon inspection, our technician found that the drain pump was malfunctioning, which was causing the error code and noise issues. Additionally, mold was discovered on the door boot seal. To resolve these problems, we replaced the drain pump and the door boot seal.
The replacement of the door boot seal not only addresses the mold but also enhances the overall functionality of the washer. The completed repairs restored the washer’s intended function, eliminating the error code and unusual noises.
