We recently serviced a Viking range/oven model VGCC5304BSS in Portland that was reported to have non-functioning bake and broil functions. The customer was unable to utilize these essential cooking features, which are crucial for meal preparation.
Upon inspection, our technician found that the issue was due to a malfunctioning TYTRONICS DSI module. This component is responsible for controlling the ignition system of the oven. To resolve the problem, we replaced the defective module with a new one.
After completing the repair, the oven’s bake and broil functions were restored to full working order. The customer can now enjoy cooking with their Viking oven without any further issues.
