GE Range Convection Mode Repair in Portland

We recently serviced a GE range model J B968S0H2SS in Portland that was reported to have a malfunctioning convection mode. The customer was unable to use this feature, which is essential for even cooking and baking.

Upon inspection, our technician discovered that there was no constant power supply to the heating element and fan when the oven was set to convection mode. To resolve this issue, we replaced the control board and capacitor. This repair action restored the necessary power to the heating element and fan, allowing the convection mode to operate correctly.

As a result of our service, the convection mode is now fully functional, ensuring that the oven meets the customer’s cooking needs effectively.
